We are looking for information about this 22 pounds lignite briquette brand "R anchor X", dimensions: 11" x 8,2" x 6".
This lignite briquette was found here in Luxembourg / Europe, and it could be a leftover of the US Army after WWII. This lignite briquettes could be used to heat steam locomotives.
Here are our questions:
- What does "R anchor X" stand for?
- anchor = US Navy?
- Which company was the producer of the "R anchor X" lignite briquettes?
- Is "R anchor X" an US brand of lignite briquette used by the US Army in or short after WWII?
